Car Minder Plus - Car Maintenance and Gas Log (MPG) App Reviews

I recently bought your app.. I like the simplicity and ease of use.. It works as advertised but to be useful to me I have 4 suggestions / requirements 1. It need to correctly manage gas logs for gallons or litres 2. The settings for metric or imperial need to be vehicle specific 3 a method is needed to correct an incorrect gas log entry 4 id like a way to track service time ( hours and fuel use) on things like lawn mowers, snow blowers, boat motors Why... I have 2 Cars using imperial measurements ( gallons, miles ) and one using metric. This is a problem.. When traveling in US, the gas is in US Gallons and priced / gallon When traveling in Canada the gas is in Liters and priced per liter.. So the metrics and graphs of gas mileage get all mixed up and are basically useless. Suggest.. Settings for odometer should be by vehicle ( km or miles or hours of use) not universal for all vehicles. When adding a gas log entry.. There needs to be a way to mark gallons or liters Your program needs to do the correct conversions to present the Miles or kilometers or hours per gallon or liter .. correctly

Very handy app. It would be even handier if you could decide mileage in kilometers or miles for each individual vehicle though. I know it says CAR Minder, but it would also be handy if maintenance checks could be done in hours for different types of equipment. Chuck

Its ok Ive seen better apps

Simple. Easy to use app. Does exactly as advertised. Minor thing but could a refresh on the interface, as icons & menus starting to look dated. Other than that, great app!

This applicatipn is useless I want my money back It does not have a predefined list of car models and required services Is ridiculous This is a theft

It does what it says. It is easy to use and setup. I like that I can track exactly (and only) the things I want to. It is especially useful for my cars that dont have service reminders.

Great app. I enjoy it a lot. Please change the app picture back to the old look. The new look is TERRIBLE.

Great app and works well. Not that big a fan of the new update as I find its a little more confusing. Also, would be good if it tracked total expenditure of fuel as youre entering the cost of fuel anyway. Overall, very satisfied as it does exactly what is described

I use this all the time. A great app.

An incredible app: once your info is added makes keeping track of maintenance, repairs, fuel usage and cost of operation. NOW IF ONLY THE DEVELOPER WOULD ALLOW FOR MULTIPLE DEVICES THAT UPDATE ONE ANOTHER Id give 5 stars. i.e my wife puts fuel in her car and inputs the info. When she gets home her info is automatically updated on my phone. This would allow multiple drivers to enter pertinent info into their phones knowing the info will update on all drivers phones.

Simple and easy to use. Perfect for setting up fluid change intervals or for other parts that need to be replaced such as spark plugs among others.

limited functions but good app overall wish you could modify previous entries and have a "skipped" or missed fuel up button as if you missed the last entry and enter the current mileage you screw up your entire stats

Awesome way to keep track of vehicle maintance and track fuel economy.

Auto care is way better than this app... Check for yourself...

I have been using this to track my mileage and repairs for years. Love its ease of use. Just sold my car and was able to print out a complete maintenance history to the buyer. Couldnt live without this app.

Great app to keep track of car repairs and maintenance. I added all the maintenance intervals as per service schedule so I can easily keep track.

This has been a good entry-level app for tracking car details. I find that it often loses information I put into the notes section. Id like to see a Details section for standard items (VIN, tire size, engine, wiper blades, etc.) rather than having to dump everything into notes.

It will be better if this app can sync millage through gps automatically
